Flittchen in alexandria. We enjoyed walking across the Montaza bridge to the Tea Palace Island which has beaches, a villa, some restaurants, the Montazah Diving Center, and beaches. Be aware that underwater visibility is low when diving in Alexandria.

For visitors, though, the main tourist attractions are the beautifully curated exhibition spaces below the main library.
In the central downtown area, you can find plenty of stores selling clothing, accessories, home decor items, and tourist souvenirs. Regrettably, no one knows exactly what the tower looked like.
